An alumnus of Government Medical College, Nagpur and Jagjivanram Railway Hospital Mumbai Dr. Priyanka Banokar Pande was a mentee of giants in Psychiatry like late Dr. Charles Pinto and Dr. Malay Dave.

She has a special interest in the field of Onco Psychiatry and has been member of International Psycho Oncology Society and has been working in department of Cancer Psychiatry under Palliative Medicine at ACTREC, Tata Memorial Hospital, Kharghar. She has been part of various awareness programs related to Mental Illness in different Cancers.

The department services about 60 patients per month along with the care givers. Dr Priyanka has an extensive experience of managing patients at Regional Mental Hospital, Thane as well as LTMMC and General Hospital, Sion, Mumbai.

She has various publications in national and international journals and written in chapters in books including awareness articles in magazines and newspapers and given talks at national and international conferences all over India.
